Margaret (Peggy) McGirl (nee Creamer) died peacefully on Tuesday, 30th December 2025, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of all of the staff at the Ballinamore Community Nursing Unit.
Daughter of the late John Joe & Alice
Peggy’s passing is deeply regretted and she will be sadly missed by her husband John, her daughters Marian & Karen, her brothers Patsy & Christy, sisters Kay, Maureen & Geraldine (Gretta); her sisters-in-law Mona, Angela, Joan & Clare, brother-in-law Seamus, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends

Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home, High St. Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, N41 TD62 this Thursday evening, January 1st, from 6pm until 8pm. Removal on Friday morning, January 2nd, to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Drumlea, for Funeral Mass at 11am (H12XY92). Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
House private please. Family flowers only please.
