Margaret (Peggy) Igoe (née Salmon) died on Friday, 7th November peacefully, in her 96th year, in the devoted care of Roscommon Hospice and previously Roscommon University Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband Mickey, parents; John and Kathleen, sisters; Vera and Eileen and brothers; Tom, Sean and Mickey.
Treasured mother of Marian (Begley), Kay, Joan (Hannon), Michael, Brian, John and Doreen (Kilroe). She will be forever missed by her family, her brother Joe (Salmon), sister Molly (Orchard), her beloved grandchildren; Siobhan, Ciara, Lorna, Oliver, Amy, Michaela, Hannah and Sarah, great-grandchildren; Imogen, Elliott, Rua and Senan, sons-in-law; Walter, Ollie and Mike, daughter-in-law Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Sunday from 3.30 o’c until 5.30 o’clock, followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday morning at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
