Margaret Hunt (née Filan) passed away peacefully, on Friday 10th July 2026, at University College Hospital Roscommon, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her loving husband Michael, her parents Margaret and Jack, sister Lily (O’Grady), brothers Luke, Peter and recently deceased Tom, brother-in-law Matt, and sister-in-law Mae.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her children Regina, Orla, John and Michelle, her grandchildren Sarah, Alía, Andrew, Anthony, Michael, Matthew, Molly and Aoibheann, her great-grandchildren Casey and Lena, her sons-in-law Fergus, Sean and John, daughter-in-law Ailbhe, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
Reposing at her residence on Sunday evening, 12th July 2026, from 5pm until 8pm.
Removal will take place on Monday morning 13th July.
Arriving at St. Paul's Church, Kilmurray for Funeral Mass at 12pm.
Followed by burial immediately afterwards in Ballintubber cemetery.
Please be aware that there will be a traffic management system in place on the evening of the funeral.
We will be using a one way system.
Entry to Milltown will be off the R367 between Castleplunkett and Ballintubber; you will be guided by helping neighbours and friends on how to enter, park and exit from the Hunt's family home.
We ask and thank everyone in advance to be patient and heed direction from the parking attendants.
