Malachy (Mal) Brehony passed away peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at North West Hospice, Sligo, surrounded by his devoted partner and family.
Pre-deceased by his beloved parents Malachy and Florence.
Sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his devoted partner and carer Anna, his beloved children Gary Serena, Brenda, eight grandchildren and Anna’s girls, brothers Eamonn and Noel, sisters-in-law Moira and Liz, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and his close friends.

Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon, on Tuesday evening (September 23rd) from 5p.m. until 8 p.m.
Removal on Wednesday morning (September 24th) to St. Patrick’s Crossna, to arrive for celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon, followed by interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo.
