Liam Fleming passed away on Wednesday, September 3rd. Peacefully in his 90th year, in the wonderful care of the incredible team at the Roscommon Hospice. Surrounded by his loving family, after a long life well lived.
Predeceased by his grandson, Oscar Brehony; and brothers, Oliver and Brian.
Dearly missed by his loving wife, Lilian; adored daughters, Ríona, Eustelle, Lisa, Fiona; sons, Shane and Aiden. Deeply regretted by his sons-in-law, Leo (McGuinness), Garreth (Carroll), Robert (Tilson), Michael (Brehony); daughter-in-law, Orla (Thompson). Remembered by his grandchildren, Della, Theo, Roddie, Síoda, Jack, Dylan, Daniel, Simone, Liam, William, Isobel, Scott, Emma and Eloise. Missed by his sister, Patricia (Gill); sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral home, Roscommon (F42 NH27), on Thursday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Roscommon, on of Friday morning 5th of September at 11am. The burial will be in in St. Coman’s Cemetery afterwards.
Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to The Mayo Roscommon Hospice or Parkinson’s Ireland in memory of Liam Fleming.

As a mark of respect, Fleming’s Supervalu and Post Office will be closed on Friday morning September 5th and will reopen at 1pm.
