Lena McNeela (née Marren) passed away on Sunday, 5th October 2025, Peacefully, surrounded by her heartbroken family, in the devoted care of the staff at the Galway Clinic.
Predeceased by her cherished son Paul, her sister Sheila and her parents Patrick and Mary.
Beloved wife of Michael and mother to Mark, Brian, Michelle, Cathy, Eimear and Liam. Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers; Séamus and Matt, sisters; Maureen and Mairéad, sons and daughters-in-law; Ann, Evette, Ollie, Niall, Joe and Áine. Remembered by her treasured grandchildren; Chloe, Laura, Ruairí, Tadhg, Eleanor, Greg, Méabh, Lucy, Kate, Jessica, Leah, Darragh, Paul, Heather, Éabha and Aoibhí. Deeply regretted by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Tuesday evening from 4.30 o’c until 7 o’c. Mass of the Resurrection in the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon on Wednesday morning at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
