Kathleen Tonra (nee McGarry) passed away peacefully on 11th October 2025, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of the Padre Pio Unit at St.Joseph’s Care Centre.
Pre-deceased by her parents Francis and Katie, sisters; Josie and Phyl and by her brother Paddy.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family , her husband Kieran, daughter Blá, sons; Conor, Gavin and Justin, sister Rose, brother Emmet, daughters-in-law; AnnMarie, Amanda and Juile, son-in-law Brian, grandchildren; Jane, Diarmuid, Tadhg, Róisín, Kate, Laoise, Clara and Martha, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews , relatives and friends.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Tuesday 14th October from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday 15th October at 12.00 noon in St.Colmcille’s Church, Aughnacliffe followed by private cremation.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Patient Comfort Fund at St.Joseph’s Care centre, c/o M.J Dolan Funeral Directors or any family member.
