Kathleen Smith (née Dowling) passed away on Monday, December 15th, 2025. Very peacefully, in her 90th year, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Drumderrig House Nursing Home, Boyle.
Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Elizabeth, her sister Mary and brother Luke.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Michael, children Deirdre (James), Fiona (Bernard), Michelle (Larry), Finbarr (Sandra) and Mark (Siobhan), beloved grandchildren Alison (Sean), Jessica, Sam, Marc, Emily and Danú. Deeply regretted by her brothers, relatives and friends.
May Kathleen rest in eternal peace.
Removal to arrive at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rooskey on Thursday 18th December, reposing from 7pm to 8.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday December 19th at 11am with burial afterwards to Cloonmorris Cemetery, Bornacoola. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Mayo/Roscommon Hospice (Kathleen's favourite charity), c/o Rogers Funeral Directors.
