John Joyce passed away on Wednesday, 7th January 2026. Peacefully at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe; in the presence of his loving family.
Predeceased by his father, Patrick; mother, Mary; brothers, Tom, Patrick and William; and sister, Margaret.
Beloved husband of Veronica, and much loved father of Helena, Marie, Paraic, Linda, Fiona and Michéal. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and partner, Brendan, David, Aoife, Barry and Sarah; his cherished grandchildren, Darragh, Ciarán, Cillian, Harry, Jack, Conor, Ethan, Eva, Niall, Lucy and Cian; brothers and sisters, Bea, Fr. Michael, Mary, Ceila, Ann, Stephen, Vincent, Eileen, Kay; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and his many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Ballymoe (Eircode F45 DN79) Friday 9th January from 4.30 pm until 7.00 pm.
Arriving for Funeral Mass in St. Croan's Church, Ballymoe at 11.00 am on Saturday 10th January.
Followed by burial afterwards in Kilcroan cemetery.
