John (Johnny) Mitchell died on Wednesday, April 10th 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Teresa, much loved father of John, Audrey, Christine, Angela and Josephine.
He will be greatly missed by his family, his adored grandchildren; Seán, Anna, Mary, Elise and Hugh, daughter-in-law Lorraine, sons-in-law; Alex and Brendan, future son-in-law Stephen, sister Agnes (pre-deceased by brothers; Michael, Martin and Patrick, sisters; Nora, Evelyn, Kathleen and Teresa and step-sisters; Delia, Maggie and Mary), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.
Reposing at Flanagan's Funeral Home, Castleplunkett, Castlerea, County Roscommon (F45 HX59) on Friday, April 12th, 2024 from 5pm until 7pm, followed by removal to St. Paul's church, Kilmurray.
Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 at 11am, followed by burial afterwards in Rathmoyle Cemetery.
