John Dowd passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday, August 7th, 2025.
Predeceased by his parents, Darby and Mary; brothers, Pakie and Tommy; sisters, Maureen, Kathleen and Lena.
Sadly missed by his loving sons, John and Roger; daughter, Pauline; son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers ,Martin, Dermot and Peter; sister, Bridie; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Moran’s Funeral Home, Ballygar (F42 K443) on Sunday evening from 5.30 o’clock until 7.30 o’clock, with removal afterwards to St. Mary’s Church, Kilbegnet (F42 AY75). Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 o’clock, with burial afterwards in Kilbegnet cemetery. Family flowers only by request. Funeral Mass can be listened to locally on 106.5 FM.
