Tuesday, February 27th, peacefully in his 91st year, in the tender loving care of his family, along with the nurses and staff of Fearna Manor Nursing Home, Castlerea.
Joe Dooney is predeceased by his daughter Ita and his grand daughter Teresa.
His family, his heartbroken wife Bertha, his children; Padraig, Gerard, Dermot, Siobhan and Annie, his 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, his sister Lilly, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and his many friends, will sadly miss and remember Joe with love,
Joe will lie in repose in The Kilgarriff Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Thursday evening from 5 o'clock with removal at 7:30pm, arriving to St. Aidan's Church Monasteraden at 8:30pm. Mass of the Resurrection Friday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Kilcolman Cemetery.
