Thursday, 1st February, peacefully at home, on the feast of St. Brigid.
In the loving care of his family; Aidan, Dympna, Ben, Cathy, Michael, Tom and his god-daughter Ella. Predeceased by his brother Tony, his sisters; Peg Connell, Pancratius (Panny) Cunniffe and Philomena Bateman. Jim will be sadly missed by his sister Dolores (Coffey), nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, his pet friends Pumba, Shelby and Archie.

Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, The Strand, Athlone (N37 WY17) on Sunday (4th February) from 4pm to 6pm. Requiem Mass on Monday (5th February) in St Mary's Church at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in Cornamagh Cemetery. Live stream link is available from the parish website.
