Hugh (Hughie) Brennan passed away on Tuesday, 21st of October 2025. peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents; John and Brigid Brennan, his sisters; Bridie, Annie, Molly and Kathleen.
Sadly missed by his brothers; Brian (London) and Pat (Cloone), his sisters; Peggy Hughes (Lisburn), Chris Boylan (London) and Philomena Lynch (Cambridgeshire), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, brothers-in-law; Francis and Billy, sisters-in-law; Chris and Breege, cousins, good neighbours, extended family and friends.
Hughie will repose at St. Joseph’s Church, Purth (Dring) Co. Longford, (Eircode N39 YX93) on Friday, 24th of October 2025 at 5.00pm concluding with prayers at 6.30pm.
Mass of the Resurrection in St. Joseph’s Church, Purth on Saturday, 25th of October 2025 at 11.00am with burial afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
