Helen Gilligan (Née Moore) passed away on Wednesday, 3rd December 2025.
Reunited with her beloved husband Billy, her parents Joe and Josephine and her brother Hughie.
Greatly missed by her loving daughters; Geradine Taylor (Gerard), Carrick-on-Shannon, Brenda (Pat) Dublin, Sinéad Tracey (Ciarán), Leitrim Village, and Michelle (Mark), Gillgarro, Castlebaldwin. Loving grandmother of Lisa (Aaron), Aisling (Ger, Éabha and Fiadhán), Lorraine, David, (Antoinette, Corey), Saoirse (Michael), Dylan (Tonie, Evie and Fíach), Troy (Grace) and Cadhla. Beloved sister of Joe Moore, sister-in-law Rose (Summerhill), nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and a great circle of loyal neighbours, friends and fellow singers in St. Mary’s choir and the Millennium choir.

Helen will repose at her residence (Eircode) N41 YT68 on Friday 5th December from 4 o’clock until 6 ‘clock. Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday morning 6th December arriving for Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 o’clock, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
