Gerard (Gerry) O’Neill died on Wednesday, 16th July, unexpectedly at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, after a long illness bravely borne.
Beloved husband of Anne, much loved father of Loyola, Orla, Gerry, Ciara, Selina, Clodagh, Thomas & Darren and adored grandfather to all his grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Gerry will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, sons & daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Gerry, Tom, Michael & Mark, daughters-in-law; Lorna, Fiona & Denise, brothers; Kevin & Aiden, sisters; Anne & Brenda, his Uncle Ollie, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Gerry is predeceased by his parents; Thomas & Anne, his sister Theresa, brothers; Noel, John & Eugene and his niece Anna.
Reposing at his home in Ballygate, Tarmonbarry, on Sunday, July 19th, from 4pm with rosary at 8pm. Removal Monday, July 20th, to The Sacred Heart Church, Whitehall (N39 W625), to arrive for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Kilbarry Cemetery.
