Geraldine McDonnell (nee McHugh) passed away on Wednesday, 22nd July, 2026. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of the Galway Clinic, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her beloved daughter Fiona.
Sadly missed by her husband Michael, her children Siobhan; Elaine and Patrick. Fondly remembered by her sons-in-law; Gary and Ciarán and daughter-in-law Gráinne. Adored by her cherished grandchildren; Fiona, Tom, Lucy, Aoibheann, Fionn, Tadhg, Darragh, Oisín, Cian and Gearóid. Deeply regretted by her brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, members of the extended family, neighbours and friends.
Geraldine will be repose at her residence (H53 FY94) on Friday 24th of July from 5pm to 8pm.
Funeral cortége will arrive at St Killian's Church, New Inn at 10.45am for Requiem Mass for Geraldine at 11am on Saturday 25th July.
Burial will take place after Mass in Killaan cemetery, New Inn.
