George McDermott passed away on Sunday, 14th September 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by his family .
Pre-deceased by his parents Tommy and Hannah.
Sadly missed by his family, his beloved wife Jean, sons Tom and George and daughters Sam and Charlie. Remembered by his sister Mary-Rose, brothers-in-law Jack and Harry. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren George, Rosie, Tillie, Mossy, Max, Hannah, Ella, Eve, Olivia, Lorcan, Leo, Jude, Heidi, Danny, Isabella and Paige. Deeply regretted by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 Ec81) on Tuesday 16th September from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday in St.Patrick’s Church, Killashee at 12.00 noon, interment afterwards in Killashee cemetery.
