Sunday, 11th February 2024 peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff of Mullingar Regional Hospital, following a short illness.
Frank Gildea, predeceased by his parents; Rose-Ella and Tom.
Beloved husband of Noeleen and much loved father of Siobhán, Gerard, Michelle, Fiona, Aidan and Linda.
Deeply missed by his family, his brother; Seán, sisters; Peggy, Nell, Una and Breege, sons-in-law; Raymond, Christy and Gareth, daughter-in-law; Ciara, adored grandchildren; Ella, Reuben, Oisín, Iarlaith, Isabelle, Jared, Ben, Dara, Síofra, Fionn and Fiachra, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Frank will repose at Smith Funeral Home, High Street, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim (Eircode N41 TD62) on Wednesday 14th February 2024 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
Removal from Frank’s home on Thursday to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Foxfield for funeral mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Fenagh Abbey Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to “Friends of St. Lukes”, Rathgar, Dublin c/o McKeon’s Funeral Directors, Cloone or any family member.
