Fr Padraig Faughnan died on February 24th 2026 (peacefully) in the care of the Royal Berks Hospital, surrounded by family.
Predeceased by his parents John Willie (Dromod Co Leitrim and Reading), Mary (Castleisland, Co Kerry and Reading) and his brother Finbarr.
Deeply regretted by his sister Breda Faughnan-Reidy, Craughwell, Galway and her husband Pat, his nephews Cillian and Cathal and his nieces Caoimhe and Ciana Reidy. Bishop Phillip Egan, Portsmouth diocese, fellow clergy, cousins and many friends.

Requiem Mass to Celebrate Fr Padraig's life will take place on Sunday July 26th at 12 midday in St Joseph's Cloonturk, Dromod, Co. Leitrim (N41PF82) with burial afterwards in Cloonmorris cemetery.
