Florrie Geelan (nee Vaughan) passed away peacefully on 4th October 2025. Surrounded by her loving family and in the loving care of the staff of Padre Pio ward in St. Joseph's Care Centre after an illness bravely borne.
Pre-deceased by her parents, her twin sister, Toni; sister, Mary; and by her infant brother, Joseph.
Florrie will be lovingly missed by her family: sons, Ken, Ray and Gavin; daughter-in-law, Tara; grandson, Kian; sister, Ann Comiskey (Longford), Helen (Dublin); and brother, Frankie (Kildare); sister-in-law, Bernie; brother-in-law, Arthur; nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81), on Monday, 6th October from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm . Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday, 7th October in St. Mel’s Cathedral at 11.00am, interment afterwards in Newtownforbes cemetery.
