Thursday, 7th August 2025; in his 83rd year, peacefully, at home after a brief illness bravely endured, surrounded by his loving family, under the care of Roscommon Palliative Homecare Team.
Deeply mourned by his wife Terry, daughter Catherine and sons; Aedan, John, Fintan Jnr. and Ronan, cherished grandchildren; Joe, Tom, Emma, Yasmin, Ben, Harry, Lauren, Ruan, Adam, Holly and Sam, daughters-in law; Mary, Aisling, Judith and Deirdre, sister Yvonne, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, extended family and a wide circle of colleagues and friends.
Pre-deceased by his brother Martin and sister-in-law Angela.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Saturday from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock. Removal from his home on Monday morning at 10.30 o’clock, arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
