Elsie (Helen) Igoe passed away on Saturday, August 23rd 2025. Peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at South Westmeath Hospice, Athlone, in her 101st year.
Predeceased by her parents, William and Brigid, brother Pat and Bill, her infant brother John, her uncle Larry and her sister-in-law Peg.
Sadly missed with love and gratitude by her nieces and nephews Mary Lynn (Liam), Bríd Fagan (Micheál), Willie, (Marie), Padraig (Teresa), Eddie (Camilla), and Joe (Ann) , grandnieces and grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grand nephews, relatives and friends and colleagues and past pupils from Dundrum College of Further Education

Reposing at Flynn’s Funeral Home Moate this Tuesday(26th) from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Wednesday(27th) to the Corpus Christi Church, Mount Temple arriving at 12.20pm for Funeral Prayers. Funeral Mass at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in Cornamagh Cemetery, Cornamagh, Athlone.
