Eithne Murtagh (nee McWeeney)

Clondra, Co. Longford.

Eithne Murtagh (nee McWeeney) passed away peacefully on Friday 31st October 2025, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of St. Joseph’s Care Centre and surrounded by her family.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Tom; sister, Eileen; brothers, Tommy, Jack and Kevin.

Eithne will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family: daughter. Una Crowley (Caragh, Co. Kildare); sons, Kevin (London) and Paul (San Francisco); son-in-law, Manus; grandchildren, Aiden, Brendan, Dara, Conor, Ronan and Grace; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81), on Monday 3rd November from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday 4th November in St. Brendan’s Church, Clondra at 12.00noon, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, please; donations, if desired, to The Patient Comfort Fund at St.Joseph’s Care Centre, c/o Glennon Funeral Directors or any family member.

House private, please.
