Friday, October 31st, 2025; peacefully, in the devoted care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Roscommon, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of the late Packie, mother of the late baby Paula and sister of the late Michael, P.J. and Stella (Clogher).
Forever missed by her son Padraig, daughters; Bernie (Kelly) and Helen (O’Donnell), brother Peadar and sister Bernie (Wynne). Remembered by her sons-in-law; Liam and Gerry and daughter-in-law Martina. Sadly missed by her adored grandchildren; Aaron, Gordon, Brion, Niamh, Michael, Laura, Megan, Melissa and Melanie. Deeply regretted by her sister-in-law Beatrice, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Saturday from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock. Removal from her daughter Bernie’s home on Monday morning at 11.30 o’clock, arriving to St Mary’s Church, Ballagh for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Cloontuskert Cemetery.

Eileen’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to all their relatives, neighbours and friends for their kindness at this time. They would also like to acknowledge the wonderful care shown to Eileen and to them by the staff at the Sacred Heart Hospital during her time there.
