Celine Frances Gately (née Mulhern) died on Sunday, June 14th, 2026, peacefully in the presence of her family. In the excellent care of the staff in Mountbellew Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her husband Paddy, parents; Thomas and Helena, her uncle and aunt John and Bridget (Healy) who Celine lived with in her childhood years, brothers; John, Luke, Seamus and Thomas, sisters; Mary, Kitty, Josephine, Ellen and Betty. Celine will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Thomas and his wife Nuala (Gately, Liswilliam), sister-in-law Eileen and her husband Gerry (O’Connor, Rahara), her devoted niece Mairead Moore, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, good friends Mary and Teresa, carers, neighbours and friends, R.I.P.
Reposing at her residence in Woodview (F42TK98) on Wednesday evening from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Removal from her residence on Thursday morning to the Church of Christ the Good Shepherd, Four Roads (F42P681) for Funeral Mass at 11.30 o’clock with burial afterwards in Tisrara cemetery.
