Catherine Phil Burke (nee Gannon) died on Thursday, 18th June 2026 in her 94th year peacefully, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Mary Gannon, her husband Jim, sons; Padraig and Seamus, her brothers Martin, Joe, Jimmy and Paddy and her sisters Bridie, Nonie, Tessie and Nelly.
Phil will be sadly missed by her loving children Martin, Mary, Ann, Gerry, Jacintha and Joe, son in law Jim, daughter in law Aishling. Her adoring grandchildren Sinead, (Simon),Sharon (Dominic), Michael (Susan), Graham, Darryl and Jason. Her beautiful great grandchildren Cian, Aine, Daisy, Fionn, her sister in law in Mary Gannon and by her relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Cunningham's Funeral Home Newbridge, Ballinasloe (H53 EO34), this Sunday evening from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock.
Removal afterwards to St.Patrick's Church, Newbridge (H53 XE82) Requiem Mass on Monday 22nd June at 12 pm in St. Patrick's Church, Newbridge. Burial afterwards Killyan Cemetery.
