Bridie McManus (Nee McManus) passed away on Thursday, 3rd July 2025. Peacefully surrounded by her family, in the tender care of the management and staff of Retreat Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her parents Tom & Ellie, husband Eddie, brothers Tom and John, sisters Kathleen (in Infancy) and Mary (Duignan), and son in law Martin (Fitzpatrick).
Sadly missed by her loving family Marion (Kenny), Jackie, Margaret (Keena), Eileen (Fitzpatrick), Carmel (Bannon), Tommy, Eamon, Pauline (Minton) and Rose (Murphy). Remembered by her daughter in law Fiona, sons in law Paddy, Liam, Vinnie, Kevin and Tom. Loved by her 21 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Clann Na nGael Clubhouse, Johnstown (N37 DX94) on Saturday from 4 o’clock, to 7 o’clock. Mass of the resurrection on Monday in St. Brigid’s Church, Drum at 11o’clock. Burial afterwards in Drum cemetery.
