Breege Finnerty passed away on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe.
Predeceased by her parents Eamon and Peggy.
Fondly remembered by her brothers; PJ (Kilcar), Aidan (Knockcroghery), sisters; Siobhan (Claregalway) and Ann(Athlone), sisters-in-law; Miriam and Margaret, brother-in-law Maurice, nephews; David, James and Ronan, niece Irene, relatives, neighbours and her many good friends.
Reposing at St Brigids Funeral Home, Brideswell (N37 EK88) on Friday evening (December 5th) from 5.30 o’clock, followed by removal at 7 o’clock to St Brigid's Church, Curraghboy arriving at 7.30 o’c. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday morning (December 6th) at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in Cam Cemetery.
The Finnerty family would like to take this oppurtunity to express their deep gratitude to the management and staff at Sonas Nursing, Athlone, the Palliative care team at Portiuncula Hospital and everyone who offered their help at this difficult time.
