Bertha Dooney (neé Hannon) died on Sunday, April 12th, 2026 peacefully at home in the tender loving care of her family, in her 94th year.
Predeceased by her husband Joe, their daughter Ita and granddaughter Teresa.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, her children; Padraig, Gerard, Dermot, Siobhan and Annie, her 16 grandchildren; Aidan, Ciarán, Niall, Shane, Chloe, Colm, Lisa, Nikita, Ross, Gary, Jason, David, Brian, Aoife, Eimear and Alwyn, her 9 great-grandchildren; Karis, Orla, Emily, Olivia, Daisy, Éanna, Odhrán, Páidí, Éala, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.
Bertha will lie in repose in The Kilgarriff Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Wednesday evening from 5 o'clock with removal at 7:30 o'c to St. Aidan's Church, Monasteraden arriving at 8:30 o'c (Via Gurteen, Moygara and Fawleens).
Mass of the Resurrection Thursday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Kilcolman Cemetery.
