Barbara (Babs) Regan (née O’Gara) born on February 28th, 1968, died on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026.
Peacefully, at her home with her family by her side. After a long illness, bravely borne with great dignity, courage and grace.
Predeceased by her dearly loved father, Davey and her treasured nephew, Stephen.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her devoted husband John, adored daughters; Aoife and Mary. Fondly remembered by her loving mother Mary, sister Maureen, brothers; Seamus, Dave, Michael and Pat. Adored by her niece Ciara, nephew Andy. Deeply regretted by her parents-in-law; Tommy and Mary, brother-in-law Eddie, sister-in-law Margaret, uncle, aunts, extended family, kind neighbours, and a wide circle of friends and clients whose lives she touched with her warmth and kindness.
Forever loved, always remembered.
Reposing in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen (F45 EE71) on Thursday from 5pm until 7pm.
Removal from her home (Hawthorne Drive) on Friday at 11am to The Church of the Sacred Heart, Fairymount (F45 F702) arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12noon, followed by private committal service in Sharkey’s Cremation Chapel, Loughglynn.
