Maryville, Battery Road and late of Assumpton Road, Athlone, Westmeath.
Ann Hewitt (née Merrigan) passed away on Sunday, August 24th, 2025. Peacefully surrounded by her heartbroken family, after a long illness borne bravely in the amazing care of Portiuncula Hospital.
Predeceased by her infant daughter Mary and her parents John and Catherine.
Greatly missed by her loving husband Thomas, sons Anthony (Willie) and Tommy, daughters Sandra, Joanne (Cleary), Catherine (Conway), Kim (Murphy), and Sarah, daughters in law Sinead, and Aisling, sons in law James, Paul, Kieran and Adam, 13 grandchildren, her loving sisters and brothers, best friends Mary and Annette, extended family and friends. We will love you forever!

Reposing at her residence on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection in St. Peter & Paul’s Church on Wednesday morning at 11am, followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium . House Private on Wednesday morning please.
