Anita Flanagan (nee Connaughton) passed away on Sunday, August 10th, 2025. Peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital.
Predeceased by her parents, John and Nora, and her brother Daniel.
Loving wife of Berney and adored mother to John (Ballinlough), Berney (Taughnarra), Mary (Sligo), Thómas (Ballymoe), Padraic (Ballinlough), Dean (Dublin), Owen (Ballinlough), and Áine (Clonakilty). Sadly missed by her husband, her sons and daughters, her adored grandchildren Dalton, Tommy, Patrick, and Farrah. Remembered by her brothers Séan (Carrowbehy) and Padraic (London), and her sister Mary (Armstrong, London). Deeply regretted by her nephews, nieces, her daughter-in-law Linda, Mary's partner Liam, and Padraic's partner Caroline, her brothers-in-law Tommy, John, Michael, James, Kevin, Noel, and Mark, sisters-in-law Marian, Madeleine, Helen, Mary, Eileen, Bernadette, and Josephine, her extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh's Funeral Home, Castlerea (F45 V2Y4) on Tuesday evening, from 4 pm until 7 pm. Funeral arriving at St. Brigid's Church, Cloonbonniffe, on Wednesday for Mass of the Resurrection at noon with burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Castlerea,
