Wednesday, July 15th, 2026. Unexpectedly but peacefully in the Mater Hospital Dublin after a short illness, surrounded by his family.
Pre-deceased by his parents; John and Annie, parents-in-law; Jimmy and Mary, his brother Sean and by his niece Lisa Cullen.
Deeply regretted by his loving family; wife Joan, daughters; Lucy, Emily Farrell and Donna, sons; Joe and Mark. Remembered by his brother Fintan (Leitrim), sisters; Mary Davitt (Leitrim), Ann O' Rourke (Leitrim) and Noeleen Mc Caffrey (Leitrim). Sadlly missed by his son-in-law Pat, Lucy's partner John, Donna's partner Damien, daughter-in-law Lisamai, Mark's partner Jessica. Adored by his grandchildren; Isaac, Eliora, Fionn, Savannah, Katie, Grace, Patrick, Hannah and Sadie. Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law; Ann and Gabriel Cullen, brothers-in-law; Hugh O' Rourke, Pat Mc Caffrey, Joe Davitt, John Mc Donald, Robert Mc Donald and William Mc Donald, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road Longford (N39 EC81) on Saturday from 5.00pm, concluding with prayers at 7.30 p.m.
Funeral Mass on Sunday in St. Mary's Church Legan at 12.30 p.m. Burial afterwards in Kilglass cemetery
