It was a disappointing day at the office for Tulsk as a strong final quarter saw Oughterard emerge victorious to 2-16 to 1-8 writes Michael Cooke.
The Galway champions made the better start with a goal from Cian Monaghan helping them to lead 1-6 to three points.
Tulsk cut the deficit before half-time, Callum Fahy scored their only goal of the game and the Roscommon side trailed by three at the interval.
With the wind at their backs behind in the second half, Tulsk reduced the gap to the minimum through points from Fahy, Tadhg O’Rourke and substitute Dave Carleton.
This was as good as it got for Tulsk however as Oughterard finished the second half in convincing fashion.
The Galway champions outscored their opponents by 1-6 to no score in the final quarter.
Man of the Match Cian Monaghan added a further two points to bring his tally for the day to 1-3 and with seven minutes to go, Patrick Walsh registered their second goal.
Oughterard now march on to the Connacht final where their opponents will be The Neale as the Mayo champions enjoyed a comfortable victory over Geevagh from Sligo.
