Tractor Run

As one of our mini fundraisers for the Lip Sync we are holding a Tractor Run from St. Brigid’s Clubhouse on Sunday 16th February at 12 noon. Registration at the clubhouse from 1130am with entry €20.

The tractor run will depart the clubhouse head on the main road to Curramore, head up Curramore to Lisbrock and on into Brideswell, then head over to Curraghboy, back down Feamore to the main road and back down to the clubhouse.

It promises to be great craic. If you don’t have a tractor find a friend that has one.

Mid-Term Camp

Mid-term Camp for children from 5 years to 13 years in St Brigids GAA  club on Thursday 20th February in aid of Lip-sync Battles. Please support!

Camp from 10 – 2 (registration from 9.30am)

Cost: €15 per child* (discount for siblings)

Multi-sports camp with lots of activities to entertain your child over midterm.

*just bring lunch and spare clothes. Tuck shop available on the day!

Cash 4 Clobber

Doing your Spring clear out why not donate your unwanted bags of clothes, bed linen, curtains, paired shoes, bags and belts to St. Brigid’s cash for clobber.

Bags can be dropped to the clubhouse every week night from 630-9pm.

Note: duvets, pillows and cushions are not expected for hygiene reasons.

Scrap Metal Collection

St. Brigid’s are also running a scrap metal collection with a skip position in our clubhouse carpark for all your unwanted, unused scrap metal. Skip is in position and ready for metal.

If you have items that are too big to bring yourself please contact Tommy on (086) 449 3871 and we will arrange collection.

Pallet Collection

Pallets wanted. Got any unused pallets in good condition (only). Pallet collection starting in the club as a fund raiser. Check your workplace and your neighbours garden and sheds also. Drop off point at the clubhouse.

St. Patrick’s Day Fun Run

Fun run in the club on Paddy’s day at 3pm. Fancy dress optional. Refreshments served after. More details to follow.

St. Brigid’s Fashion Show

Once again the lovely ladies and gents of St. Brigid’s will strut their stuff on the catwalk for our fashion show on Thursday 19th March.

Showcasing  from local shops and with trade stands there on the night it promises to be a night not to be missed. Tickets €15 available from all executive members or in the Hodson Bay Hotel or contact Sissy on 086 832 8426.

Club Registration

St. Brigid’s registration is now due for all players, coaches, and committee members.

Registration is €60 for u18’s, €80 for adult players and €50 for adult members.

It is essential that all players are registered in order to participate in training and in club games. We would encourage all members to finalize membership as soon as possible, as coaches want to ensure that players are eligible to train.
