The Roscommon under 20’s will join their senior contemparies in a Connacht Final in Dr. Hyde Park next Sunday.
Shane Curran’s side knocked out All-Ireland favourites Galway in the provincial semi-final in Tuam Stadium this afternoon. Dylan Ruane’s wonder goal in the 38th minute proving the difference.
Galway went down to 14 men after seven minutes when Finian O’Laoi was red carded after an off the ball incident. The first half was evenly matched with the half-time score reading 5 points apiece.
Roscommon finished the game with 14 men and Galway had 13 men with the dismissals of Liam Cregg and Rob Finnerty.
Cian McKeon finished the game as Roscommon’s top scorer with seven points and Roscommon goalkeeper Aaron Brady also excelled in the game.
