Roscommon recorded their third win in Allianz Hurling League Division 3A with a four point win over Armagh 0-18 to 1-11 and are the only unbeaten team in 3A.
Armagh moved into a five point lead when Shane Curley’s 13th minute score was Roscommon’s first point. Padraig Kelly 0-3 and a point each from Hugh Rooney, Conor Mulry and Cillian Egan saw the half-time score seven points apiece.
Shane Curley and Cathal Dolan moved Roscommon into a two point lead with Currley adding another from and Eamon Dolan making it Roscommon 0-12 Armagh 0-7.
Armagh responded with a point and a goal to bring the game back to one point, before leveling the game with 17 minutes of the second half elapsed.
Five minutes Cathal Dolan restored Roscommon’s lead. Hugh Rooney extended the lead out 0-15 to 1-9 with the sides exchanges scores to make it 0-17 to 1-11.
With five minutes remaining Cathal Dolan sent over the insurance point to secure Ciaran Comerford’s side victory.
