Roscommon And Leitrim Ladies Set For Battle

Roscommon and Leitrim meet again in the 2019 Championship as the All-Ireland intermediate championship gets underway.

In the Connacht semi-final, there was a 15-point gulf between the teams, as the Rossies claimed a big win.

“We’re into the group stage with Leitrim and Offaly and we’re looking to top the group” explained Roscommon captain Sinead Kenny.

“We will want to get off to a good start with a win” added Kenny who hopes a big crowd will enter the Hyde early with Roscommon’s super 8s game with Tyrone to follow.

Roscommon have since retained their Connacht Intermediate crown, and will now look to make a big impact in the All-Ireland series.
