Colm Shine, the man who captained Roscommon to the All-Ireland U-21 football title for the first time in 1966 has died.
His club Clann Na NGael tweeted Colm will be sadly missed not only in Clann Na Gael but also throughout Roscommon and the wider GAA community .
It is with deep regret and sadness that @ClannGAA advise of the passing of Colm Shine.
Colm was a well decorated player for club and county, captaining @RoscommonGAA to U.21 All-Ireland glory @CrokePark in 1966 and winning a Senior title with Clann in the same year. #RosGAA pic.twitter.com/ikLvqSEwnK
