Glavey’s are going to Croke Park to Win

Conor Hussey leads his Michael Glavey’s team mates out in Croke Park intending to win the All-Ireland.

Michael Glavey’s face Tyrone’s Moy Tir Na Nog in Saturday’s final which is live on Shannonside FM, throwing in at 3:45pm in Croke Park.

Hussey has played once in Croke Park before, for the Roscommon minor team, a game which he tasted defeat in, Hussey is determined to taste success in Croke Park tomorrow.


“It’s hard to believe it has happened” jokes Hussey “but we’re not just settling to play in Croke Park we want to win in Croke, Park.

“We’ll do everything we possibly can to make sure that happens” declared Hussey. “At the start of the year it was at the back of our minds, that it could happened”

“It wasn’t the best day” recalls Hussey of his last appearance in Croke Park.

“We went up that day confident to win, we were unlucky and we lost by a point in the end, it was one of the worst defeats ever”.

“When you want to play in Croke Park, you want to win in Croke Park and that’s what we will be trying to do, we’ve given it our all, all year and that’s not going to change on Saturday.”
