The GAA have confirmed that Roscommon’s trip to Galway will now throw-in at 3.30pm this Saturday afternoon.
Anthony Cunningham’s side travel to Salthill in a game they must get a result from, however the match will now be in direct competition with the Wales v Ireland Six nation’s decider.
The Allianz Hurling league Quarter-final between Galway and Wexford will be the curtain raiser at Pearse Stadium with throw-in at 1.30pm.
The rescheduling of the game will cause some debate as the Irish rugby team’s game with Wales kicks off at 2:45pm. A victory for Joe Schmidt’s team could see Ireland win the Six Nations if England lose to Scotland in the later game.
The GAA have also confirmed that Derry versus Leitrim in Celtic Park will throw-in at 4pm, while Longford versus Westmeath will throw-in at 2pm.
All three games will live on Saturday Sport from 2pm.
