A number of high-profile Roscommon footballers have been invited back to pre-season training having missed last year’s campaign.
The Irish Times reports that quoting Roscommon manager Kevin McStay that a number of high-profile players who missed the 2017 Connacht senior football championship winning season have been invited back for pre-season training.
Included in that group, reported by the Irish Times are Cathal Cregg and the Daly Brothers Niall, Connor and Ronan.
Former All Star nominee Donal Shine is not among the players returning to the camp, however the door has been left open by Kevin McStay and his management team for Neil Collins if he returns from the US.
According to the Irish Times the group will consist of between 30 and 40+ players until the middle of January when the a league panel will be named.
