The popular motorcycle road race which is run by the Coleraine & District motor club is one of the largest sporting events in Ireland attracting crowds of up to 80 to 90 thousand to the North West and was due to be held in May of this year with a provisional date in August.

However in a statement the organizers noted that official advice has made it clear to them that the effects of Coronavirus would remain for some considerable time and after much consideration the committee had felt it would be impossible to run this years event.
