Town Chase Shels With Cabinteely Target

Neale Fenn believes his side can catch Shelbourne for the SSE Airtricity League first division title and are not fearing Cabinteely.

The Town travel to the south county Dublin venue on Friday (kick-off 7:45), five points off leaders Shelbourne who travel to Athlone Town at the same time.

“They’ve had some good results including the last draw against Shels, their in good form so he’s (Pat Devlin) confident about them” explained Fenn.

“Cabo have a good home record the pitch must suit them, I don’t think the pitch will be a factor, I’d imagine it will be about who gets the lead first and can work form there.

“We’re confident going into the Cabinteely game, the first game was one-all and the game at our place was 1-0 but there wasn’t much in it.”

“It was a good result for us on Saturday, a massive result for considering the previous week” added Fenn.

Paul O’Connor, Dean Byrne, Carlton Ubaezuonu are all available for Town, as are Joe Manley and Tristan Noack-Hofmann have both returned from the World University Games.
