Mullinalaghta Progress To Longford SFC Quarter-Final

St. Columba’s Mullinalaghta booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Peter Hanley Motor’s senior championship with a four point win over Clonguish.

Chris Connolly’s penalty had seen Clonguish lead by one point at half-time, but the Leinster championships showed they had a lot in the locker.

Packie Molloy’s second half goal wasn’t enough as Mullinalaghta won out 16 points to 2-6.

In Group two Abbeylara continued their winning ways with a five point win over Carrickedmond. Abbeylara winning out 1-17 to 2-9.

In group one of the Mulleady Group Intermediate Championship Ballymahon had 14 points to spare on Sean Connolly’s as they won out 3-13 to 1-5.

While in group two Ballymore scored a nine point win over Grattan Og, Ballymore securing a 3-14 to 1-11 win.
