It’s a top of the table clash on Friday night as table toppers Shelbourne host second place Longford Town.
Shelbourne have played 14 games in the competition-winning nine, drawing one and losing four. The Dubs are on a good run having won their last three games in a row.
Shelbourne manager Ian Morris says the league standings and fortunes in the league can change very quickly.
“You can find yourself in first and then in sixth, two or three wins on the bounce and your back at the summit. It’s very competitve” explained Morris.
“It should be a fantastic game, both teams like to keep the ball on the deck and play” added the Shelbourne boss.
“The pitch has been in great condition all season so that should really bring the standard of the game along. It should give something for the fans to cheer about, but hopefully we’ll be looking to come out on the right end.”
Shelbourne manager Ian Morris has been previewing the game with Kevin McDermott and looking back on their season so far.
