The Longford Town Review April 28

Longford Town moved back to the top of the SSE Airtricity League first division after a one-nil victory over Limerick.

The victory set a new club record of nine consecutive games unbeaten in the league, town have only conceded two goals in their first nine games.

Dean Byrne’s 73rd minute goal sent Town back to the top of the table, one point clear of Cabinteely with a game in hand on all the challengers.
