Longford commentator pays tribute to Dermot Brady

As Longford prepare for their O’Byrne Cup semi-final with Meath it is without the presence of Dermot Brady.

The 35-year-old Longford Slashers man made his championship debut against Wicklow in 2001 and over the course of a 17-year inter-county career established himself as one of the best defenders in the country.

Brady won a Division Four League title with Longford in 2011 and a Division Three League title in 2012.
