Kenagh Progress To Leinster Junior Quarter-Final

Kenagh advanced to the AIB Leinster junior championship quarter-final with a 10 point victory over Berlin in Abbostown, Dublin.

European representatives Berlin gave a good account of themselves against Kenagh but finished 3-5 to 3-15 in arrears having led 3-7 to 1-3 at half-time.

The Longford champions will now face Ballymore Eustace of Kildare in the quarter-final stages.

Elsewhere Westmeath’s Ballynacargy edged out Wicklow’s An Tochar 0-12 to 1-7 at St Loman’s GAA in Mullingar.

Offaly’s Faithful Fields was the venue for local club Shannonbridge’s 14 points to 13 victory over Carlow’s Fenagh, while Roche Emmetts of Louth enjoyed a convincing 5-15 to 2-6 success over Castletown Gaels of Laois.
